About the College

Swan Hill College offers a broad curriculum program, excellent facilities and dedicated staff, in order to cater for the educational needs of our students.  Senior school students select from a broad range of VCE units across levels 1 to 4, have access to certificate level courses in the Vocational Education and Training program (VET) or undertake work in the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), a certificate focussed on preparing students for work or further training. Students moving into Year 10 choose from a variety of programs designed to establish their future pathway into their chosen career or area of expertise. This choice can include both VCE and VET options. Year 9 students select from electives designed to cater for special interests from a broad range of more specialised subject based electives from the various learning areas. Year 7 and 8 students undertake study across all of the learning areas in order to build a solid skill base with a particular focus on Literacy and Numeracy.  Swan Hill College offers a very broad curriculum program. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the music program, sporting teams, debating & public speaking competitions. The house system provides lunch time competitions and entertainment which involve both students and staff.  If you would like a tour of the College or would like to discuss curriculum options for your child ring the College on (03) 5032 9360 for an appointment.
