Principal's Report
This week I returned to school after four weeks long service leave where I travelled to the west coast of the United States and then to Hawaii.  Whilst it was great to have the opportunity to travel and experience a different culture and see some wonderful sights it is also great to be back to the normality of life in Australia. While travelling you have the time and opportunity to reflect on many things and a number of points were reinforced to me.  In many of the cities we visited you would regularly come across homeless people who were begging for money, many of whom were quite young. By ensuring that our children gain a quality education which allows them to become literate and numerate will allow them to function fully in society. These skills will enable them to access a job that will provide them with high quality options and ensure they can support themselves, and eventually a family, in future years.
