Parent Teacher Interviews
Three way Interviews are held twice per year. Bookings can be made online for an interview with each of your child’s teachers. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents.

This semester Parent-Teacher Interviews for Years 7 – 12 will take place on Thursday, 29th April. The interviews will be scheduled across two sessions: 12:30pm to 3:30pm and 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Students will only be required at school during their individual interview times.
Due to the current department COVID 19 restrictions, only one adult can attend the interviews. All visitors must enter via the front office and check in using the QR code or sign in form. Where possible we ask visitors to avoid large groups in corridors and wait at external doors prior to interviews.
As in previous years, interviews will be made via Daymap Connect. This is the same program you have access to where you can find information regarding your child’s progress throughout the year.
Log into Daymap Connect using the following link: http://daymap.shc.vic.edu.au/DaymapConnect to book times that best suit you. Attached is a map of the school and the location of teachers on the day. Before you make a booking, please refer to the map to ensure you have enough time to move between your interviews.
For families that don’t have access to the internet at home, work, or on a mobile device, computers will be available at the general office to book interview times.
Interviews are strictly 7 minutes, and spaces are limited. If you require more time, please contact the teacher directly to make alternative arrangements. Parents can change their interview bookings any time before the closing date by revisiting the website.
H2 will be open for VCAL parents from 12:30pm – 1:30pm and then again from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. The VCAL staff will be available to speak with during these times. This will give parents a chance to visit one of the integrated VCAL rooms and talk to the staff to see how their student is progressing. There is no need to book in for these sessions. Should you wish to speak privately to a VCAL staff member, we encourage you to book an appointment online.
The careers team will be available until 3:30pm in their office for students looking for career information and advice. When booking, you have the option of selecting a careers booking time if you wish to meet with a member of this team.
If you cannot secure a suitable time on the schedule for a specific teacher, you will need to contact them directly via email, phone, or Daymap to arrange an alternative time. If you book interview times and then for some reason are unable to attend, please advise the school by contacting the general office on (03) 5036 4900.
